sitting up late at night icing your mothers busted lip and broken nose.
dealing with people throwing food at you in the cafeteria at lunch.
doing any form of harm to your body. (ex) include: cutting your self, doing drugs, smoking, alcoholism, biting yourself, and even other forms or methods of getting a high sensation.
when someone controls another person by where they go, whom they see, whom they talk to and how they live their lives.
being forced into sexual acts by a complete stranger or even a boy/girlfriend or even husband and wife.
when someone makes fun of your sexual prefference or even a trusted person goes bonkers on you about sex and etc....
when someone threatens you to make you scared and make themselves feel powerful over you.
when a person keeps you from your money, your bank account, or even from getting a job.
SIX RECOGNIZED FORMS OF ABUSE
1. PHYSICAL VIOLENCE
striking, punching,
pushing, shoving,
throwing objects, smashing precious collections.
2. SEXUAL VIOLENCE
forcing hurting,
forcing unwanted forms of sex,
rape
3. VERBAL VIOLENCE
shouting, rage, put downs,
comparisons with previous spouse
4. SOCIAL VIOLENCE
isolation from friends, confining to house, smothering, constant telephoning to check up on another
5. ECONOMIC VIOLENCE
keeping a spouse poor so spouse has to ask for essentials keeping total control of finances
6. SPIRITUAL ABUSE
selective use of scriptures
e.g. "Wives be submissive to your husbands"
without regard to it's context, namely,
"Submit yourselves to one another" and
"husbands love your wives…"

Abuse to me means being hurt by someone emotionally or physically. Someone really bringing you down to the point you feel you can't pick yourself up again. When you feel there is no hope, that is abuse.

well let me tell u i know what it is i was married to a guy for 2 years that abused me. abuse is anything that makes u feel bad about ur self. name calling, hitting u anything. u should never let anyone make u feel like u r nothing. u r ur own worst enemy and it is never ever ok to let someone make u feel bad about ur self
