They may fit, but your car will be destroyed in the process. This has numerous impacts on every part of the drivability of your car from the greater amount of work your brakes will have to do to the extra load on your suspension to the wheel bearings, the cost of tires, your caster and camber will be off, wearing your tires severely, your speedometer and odometer will be off, your gas mileage will go down, your performance and handling will be negatively effected by the increased unsprung weight of the wheels, and most importantly, your car will look stupid. Why would you be willing to sacrafice the drivability and safety of your car so you can look "cool?" It's a 2000 Impala, for Christ's sake, no matter what you do to it, it will not be cool. Why not maintain your car properly and act like an adult so you can have a reliable automobile for yourself?

They won't fit. When you turn the car they'll hit the inside of the wheel well. If you hit a bump they'll hit the top of the well.

So they might look nice sitting still, but driving they won't work. Besides, they'll look so oversized for the car (and a 2000 Impala is really just a family vehicle) that it will be clear that you're compensating :P

I know that 20's fit....but for 22's ...you're going to have your suspension beefed up...I would go with air bags...or get better coil overs, struts, and sway bars...now if this was 1996...no problem..just have to make sure you got everything right..or your car will sit lopsided and ****...it would best to ditch the factory **** that only support 16's and 17's...get some ceramic brakes...it dose'nt have to be Brembos...but you got to spend some money...if you want to ride big...you gotta spend big...you might be able to do it cheap...but why sacrifice for performance and ride comfort...everything after 19 inches...makes you a virtual slug...and you're going to ride at 2 miles per hr...to avoid bending a rim.

Any good rim/tire store will have a computerized image of your car with the wheels displayed and attached for you to view. They will also know if it will work.
