I was about 14. I remember my mom got really sick, my dad doesn't know how to cook and my siblings were already married. There were days that I missed school to stay home and take care of my mom, and I remember she would be walking me through each recipes. Mind you, I used to burn a lot when I first started!

i was cooking when i was 5...my mom and grandpa were both chefs so i learned at an early age and now they are both gone os i carrie on the tradition of cooking in my adoptive parents' home

I was 8 when I started using the stove.But I was 5 when I started using the microwave.I'm a great cook and can make meals that could feed up to 20 people or just enough to feed 2.

Mom started teaching me how to cook at the age of 4 or 5. We would do cookies and stuff. But she did teach me young to do main dishes tool.

I made my first Campells condensed soup on the stove when I was 10 years old! A real recipe though.... I'd say when I was 12ish.
