Basically, seen as Filipino's are dark themselves, i want to know how they feel towards black people. And does the rest of Asia regard the Filipino's like they do Black people because of their darker skin colour?

I agree with the above answers. The Filipino culture, like all cultures, is very interesting. Try researching the history of the country and you will learn that Filipinos have a mixed ancestry.

There is also a few good magazines out there in circulation that give you an idea of the modern culture as it is today.

Hey sweetie,
If you want to know more about how we actually connect with each other..check out the Agta People. Filipinos would probably understand you culturally and accept you culturally more than any other Asian group. They treat us the same way as Puerto Ricans do...their the same as us. Colonised, Oppressed, Slaved, Raped, just like us....need I go on.
It's not about skin colour. It's about control and conquer..the Spaniards conquered them as the Europeans conquered us.

Cheers to you for the post.

it is humorous. think of roughly it. it is like asking if somebody is white or Australian. White refers to a race. Asian refers to a continent. Asia has various races. The Philippines are seen component of Asia. Of the three selections you gave, it would be Asian as i could be seen North American. regulation enforcement interior the U. S. generally checklist all non-blacks as whites. yet, i think of maximum persons might checklist their race as Filipinos. interior and outdoors of Asia, it relatively is difficulty-loose to checklist someones race as their nationality. they are not Hispanic, however their are extremely some Spanish names interior the Philippines. it is as a results of the fact Spain had large impact some centuries in the past. on the instant, the Philippines has 2 respectable languages, Filipino and English.
