She doesn't need to be weaned. She probably has acid reflux. That is exactly what my daughter did and it was exhuasting to feed her every hour! Don't give her cereal yet because she could develop life long allergies. Try a formual like enfamil AR which is thickened with rice starch so that she keeps it down. (By the way, acid reflux doesn't mean she throws up or spits up all the time, sometimes milk just goes up the throat a little and is enough to make the baby uncomfortable so that she doesn't take all the formula she needs and then gets hungry a short time later)
See a doctor for advice.

Have you tried the formula for hungrier babies? Weaning should start as close as possible to six months - to avoid the possibility of a baby developing allergies like asthma and eczema in later life. When you first introduce your little girl to food begin with pure baby rice - 1 teaspoon of rice to 8 teaspoons of formula. Then go on to pureed vegetables, meat or fish. Introduce sweet flavours after the savoury ones. A good web site to visit is the Cow and Gate one - loads of hints there. Good luck, enjoy your baby.

Three months is too early to introduce cereal or any other kind of solid. It's best to wait until 4 -6 months. Formula or breastmilk should be the only source of nutrition.
This is typically when babies have growth spurts and eat all the time. It's frustrating and wears you down. They don't last long. A couple of days. (Although my daughters both had one that lasted about a week.)

I wouldn't try weaning. She will still want to eat all the time. She is going through a growth spurt and needs more. She will experience these spurts at 3 months and again at 6 months. Keep up the good work you are doing what is best for your baby. She only needs breastmilk or formula for the first six months anyway. No solids until then. Breastmilk is the best through the first year. Good luck and keep up the good work.

Hi I was advised by my hv to wean at 3 months. Start off with baby rice half way through her bottle. I found it best to sit my boy on my lap to start with. If you want to do jars make them savory as we started with rice pudding and it was a nightmare trying to get him to eat savory food. Ask your health visitor when they reccomend weaning as its always changing. Hope it goes ok for you.

It's too early yet. Stick to milk for now - I know it's tempting move onto solid food. You could try talking to your health visitor next time you have a clinic appointment.
