I'm going to be taking a vacation to Duluth, Minnesota this summer and I want to camp. I was wondering if there are any campgrounds that are along the waterfront of Lake Superior.

The official guides will be great. Mosquitoes have not been that bad in the last couple of years either and the breeze from the lake usually lessens the chance they'll be biting. Another good thing to keep in mind is the campgrounds on Old Highway 61 from Duluth to Two Harbors. I recommend the Wagon Wheel Campground. Great owners, sites, rates and location.

Check with KOA (Kampgrounds of America), Woodall's or contact State of Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, specifically, state parks. They will provide you maps, locations, and any information pertaining to camping, lodging, and facilities available at each site.

yes, check those official sources, minnesota has thousands of lakes, but the mosquitos will carry you away. Bring lots of "off".
