I feel for the family of Darrent Williams. They are the ones now who have to try and understand why someone would kill a man who got the chance of a lifetime to live a dream that most of us will never even be able to imagine. This kinda puts a different perspective on life and games, now doesn't it? He is fine now where he is, his family are the ones suffering. If you pray, pray for them, but don't worry about Darrent anymore, he will be fine for the rest of eternity.
Darrent, #27, is the player who, last night, recovered the fumble after the whistle had blown on the first of two crazy calls by the officials. After review, even though the play was dead, the Broncos were still given possesion of the ball because he just picked it up.

WIlliams would have been a pro-bowl cornerback. He was coming along very well. Granted he got burned a few times, but it was only his second year in the league. He had great athletic ability and was learning fast. He would have become one of the best in the game
RIP Darrent Williams

Oh my God. This is horrible news. I am not a Denver fan, despite being born there 32 years ago. I respected Williams for his talent on the field, and I pray for his family and friends in this hard and trying time. Rest in Peace Darrent.

More like future HOF'er. In my Madden game (XBOX) he got picked up by SF and had 14 picks in a season. Two against me (Eagles). My opinion, he would have been in the 2008 Pro Bowl. Then, once Champ retires or moves to a diff. team, he'd have a season for the ages.

I feel so bad about that. A good friend of mine plays with Denver and I have yet to get a hold of him. Unfortunate situation.
