Tampons feel uncomfortable until you get used to them.
When I was on the pill, I wore a tampon and pads, just to save time. When the tampon was full I would take it out and leave the pad to do it's job.
Now I'm on the pill I don't have a heavy period. Tampons don't work for me now, so I stick with pads.

Well they always say that you should try both of them tampons and pads the only thing bad about a pad is that you can't go swimming with one now the problems with tampons are inserting them they don't hurt though. Some people think that virgins aren't supposed to use tampons but that is not true anyone can use tampons.A tampon does not hurt at all.If it is your first time inserting a tampon the only thing you have to d is relax don't freak out cuz if you don't like them you can always decide not to use them if your going to try one always start with a slender or a junior size because these sizes are smaller and easier to insert. The way you use one is to simply wash your hands first then take off the paper and before inserting be sure to check that he string is hnging out from the bottom not the top.Using your middle finger hold the bottom of the larger tube (the one that has a smaller tube inside)then slide the front end of the front end of the tube into your vagina. Then push the tube in as far as your fingers can go.To remove simply just gently pull on the string. It does not hurt however you need to change both pads and tampons every time you use the restroom otherwise there might be a chance you will get toxic shock syndrome. This dieasese is very rare but very dangerous if you need more imformaion on Toxic Shock /Syndrome please read either The period book or Growing up it's a girl thing I hope I helped you

I use tampons, they can be uncomfortable if you don't insert them right. If you need help, there are instructions inside the box. A good brand to try would be any kind with a plastic applicator, cardboard ones don't go in as easily. I've just been using tampons for years, I hate pads!

I like tampons much better than pads (I feel like I'm wearing a diaper when I wear a pad). Try the Tampax pearl in the smallest size available, and if you have trouble inserting it, put some vaseline on the tip for easier insertion. It's really a matter of preference for each individual woman though.

Pads.Tampons r hard to get on.Plus if u keep a tampon on to long u could get some kind of thing in ur system or it could get stuck. Then u will have to go to the doctor.I learned this in 5th grade.
