I think that the reason people, in general, can't seem to get along is their inability to accept the differences that we all have in our perspectives regarding the many issues facing society. If we don't agree on something, we must learn to tolerate the others preference. We all have a right to be happy. We don't, however, have a right to try to force our own ideas or beliefs on another.
Religion is never a bad thing. It is the distortion that man inflicts upon religion that taints the whole concept. Men have corrupted more than just religion, by their self-serving natures.

People can't get along because they have so many differences. Personal likes and dislikes, culture differences, money, politics and religion top the list. But, NO, that doesn't make religion a bad thing. It makes people's attitude the bad thing which in reality is just human nature. Wouldn't it be a boring world without our differences? We need to learn to accept each other.

That's like saying if you fight over the children they are a bad thing. No the people fighting are doing the bad thing not the thing they are fighting over.
Why can't people get along? hmmmm ..solve that one and we'll have world peace. But it's a good question and we need to keep asking it our we'll never get closer to peace.

Religion is not bad. In the US we have the right to freedom of religion. It's the fighting that's undesirable.

People fight over what TV channel they want to watch. Does that make TV a bad thing?

Religion doesn't have to be a bad thing, but people make it bad. Intolerance is the biggest problem.

the way a person worships should be of their own choice but unfortunally most major wars that have ever been fought throughtout all of mankind has been over religeon. very sad indeed
