yes!!! sports always seem to find a place in culture. Wayne Gretzkty famously said, after winning the World Cup, "This is our game!" No Canadian could have said it better! in this world we usually associate a sport with a country. cricket for the UK, the states have baseball, Canada has ice hockey, and too many places claim football, or soccer as their own. this is also evident when you see how wildly popular the Olympics are. we're not just celebrating an ancient Greek Festival! we're there for the sports!

well u can say that it combines people because they all have a great time and cooperate in it together and an atmosphere of friendship and fun will be produced
but divides them because there might be alot of arguments,fights,competition and tension between the two teams!!
