I installed a 80 g H.D. let windows format it it only shows 5 g whats up.?

Sometimes it does that. If you want to reclaim your space, which i know you do, then this is all you should have to do.

Click on Start.

Right Click on My Computer

Click on Manage

On the left, click on storage, and then on Disk Management.

You should now be able to see your hard drive and how its partitioned. From here, you can reclaim your space.

How old is your computer and what OS are you running? And what size is your other hard drive?
