Most sites say 2-3 times a week is enough, but they dont say if every day is too much, or bad for the quality of the sperm! So is every day or every other day too much or better?

under normal circumstances every other day is fine you dont need 2 every day unless theres a problem with the sperm then it would be a bit less, Theres also other factors to consider like how long have you been trying and how old you are and your partners health too and even if you both have good health it can take awhile The best advice is to relax and try not 2 think 2 much about getting pregnant as stress can stop you from concieving, If you have any worries its best 2 go and c your drs

You need to work out when your fertile (when you ovulate) and then have sex around this time for maximum chances of conception. Work out how long your cycle is then take 14 away from the number (eg cycle is 30 days long - 14 = 16) that is the approx day you ovulate. It is generally 14 days before your next period. You can check for signs of ovulation by monitoring your basal body temperature each morning before you get out of bed. It will be higher during & after ovulation although some womes dip as they ovulate. The discharge down below will also become slimey like raw egg white - this is easier to monitor. Sperm can live for 5 days in the body so if you have sex regularly before and around this time you have much more chances of being succesfull. Good luck!

Every other day is okay. It takes the testicals up to 72 hours to replenish the sperm count after each ejaculation. So if you have sex all the time all youre doing is sending out row boats instead of battle ships.

Besides that, sperm lives in your reproductive tract for atleast 48-72 hours, sometimes even more. So theres no need to add more to it.

And besides all that, you only ovulate one day out of your cycle. so theres only 24-36 hours where you can even GET pregnant. Having sex every day lowers that chance because the sperm count is lower on the day that you're finally ovulating. Before you're ovulating the cervix tends to be closed, so the sperm cant even make it into the reproductive tract as readily as it does on the day of ovulation.

The best thing you can do is have sex when you feel the desire, and enjoy it. Your ovulation hormones boost your sex drive when you're able to get pregnant naturally, so just ENJOY sex. You will get pregnant. It really can be that easy.

No no no. They say to have sex 2-3 times a week but during that fertile week you can go once a day every day to once a day every other day. If you know your other half has a good sperm count you can do it every day.

3-4 times a week but only once in a day. Too much weakens the sperm (less mature sperm produced on ejaculation) but given how long the egg lives 3-4 times perweek gives a good chanceof fertilisation However, if trying to get pregnent just enjoy the sex and stop thinking about conception as worrying about it too much can be counter productive.

there is no criterion for the number of times to have sex. you can have sex even two three times a day. YOU SHOULD know that only one sperm is needed to fertilize in your egg out of millions ejaculated at one time sex. If your man is not capable of impregnating you then get him checked for the sperm count and go by the advice of the doctor. BUT IT IS FOR SURE that frequency of having sex has nothing to do with the quality of sperms...

Best advice: work out when you are most likely to release an egg ie: in between periods and only have sex in that time, but not too often as good quality sperm takes a few days to muster up. having a long session doesnt have to be necessary as a quickie will get you pregnant too. U can get a thermal thermometer from boots to check whether you have the hormones i ya system to get things going.

Alos most couples who announce they are expecting say that a roast dinner was eaten on the day they concieved.......... its true!!!

It depends how mature, both physically and emotionally, you are that determines how often you should have sex. Some couples prefer only 3 times every month; yet other have intercourse 5 times a week. Try and set up a "schedule" with your spouse to figure out what would work best for you.

they say 2-3 days so that the sperm is better matured and there are enought of them to give you a fighting chance, you can still get pregnant if you have sex every day
