Does anyone know if Halo 2 can be played on the Xbox 360? I don't have a original Xbox and I love Halo 2, so does anyone know if it's playable on the 360?

Halo 2 does work on the 360, and in fact, it is one of only two original Xbox games (the other being the original Halo) that are backwards compatible right out of the box. This is assuming you have the Hard Drive for the 360 (without it, you can't play any backwards compatible games). All of the other games that are listed as backwards compatible require you to download a patch to your 360. Since Halo 2 was the most popular game for Xbox, they decided to have that patch included on the Hard Drive.

dude you are in so much luck, i got the 360 for christmas and Halo 2 was one of the games that i had wanted to buy, so i went out and went to one of the local gaming stores, well i asked the man at the counter whether it was compatible with the 360 and he said that Halo 2 was a backwards compatible game which may sound off but it runs perfectly and is awesome graphics

Yes, as long as you have the harddrive (comes with the premium system).
