Well, I'd imagine that if you did have makeup on, you'd worry about whether it was running and smearing. I know I would, anyway.

If you're going to a gym where you're going to be around a lot of people, try to think that the only reason you're there is to benefit your body... to give yourself confidence in OTHER situations. Consider it maintenance time.

In other words, you're going to the gym to look good... not looking good to go to the gym. :)

If you've got a few trouble spots, dab on a bit of concealer... it's amazing how a little concealer in the right places can brighten up your entire face. And it's less likely to run.

I think when you work out you should be focusing on that not worrying if people are looking at you without makeup. Just go there for what you have to do and don't worry about the little things and you should be fine

You should feel confident about yourself whether or not you are wearing makeup. Confidence comes from within! If you must wear makeup when you work out, try Bare Minerals--all natural, and it won't clog your poors. Personally, I love te rosey glow I get when I work out...it's all natural, and I think I look my best after I work out!

I would keep it delicate and simple. Maybe a tinted sunscreen like the kind from clinque and some lip gloss. Wearing full foundation and powder can make your pores clogged when working out.. depending on what type of working out that you are doing. Most people shower after a work out, so why doll all up if you are going to shower it off... o.o

I work out with absolutely no makeup on and do not worry about it.Most people that meet me with makeup on tell me I am very attractive so I don't mind looking like a dog for a couple of hours besides YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO LOOK SEXY WHEN YOU ARE WORKING OUT....think about it,if you are really working out you are hot and sweaty,making silly faces and grunting!!Many people are there to work out and are not looking at you anyways but there are also many people there to "pick up" on people so don't let that group of people bother you.

One last thing to touch on,why would you wear any make up to the gym when it is going to sink into your pores while working out and cause pimples and you are going to have to take a shower after anyways....Stick to natural and do not worry about other people at the gym,that is not why you are there, is it?

I have worked out for many years at the gym with no make up and have plenty of friends there,,just be yourself and don't be afraid to talk to people, you''ll make plenty of friends that you can "hook up" with later and show your real beauty to!

I wouldn't worry about makeup. I know at the place where I go, if you are in full make-up and hair done, then you are stared at. Everyone knows you sweat and get yucky when you work out. So to be all decked out doesn't make sense. Just go as you are and show everyone your natural beauty.

from my husbands perspective, he says a girl working out with no make up on taking care of herself is just as sexy ( if not more so) than seeing a chick in bar done up to the nines with ton of make-up on
it's nicer to see the "real" woman
I have to agree I guess women use to much make-up in any case
and hey maybe you can think about if you wear make- up while working out, your mascara might run and your foundation will clog up your pores and you get zits
which would you rather ( especially when you are trying to make yourself look better) ?

I use self tanner on my cheeks, forehead, chin, nose and blend to my neck and upper chest. Put it on under your makeup in the morning and before you work out wash your face. It will have a clean, healthy glow.

just put on a little bit of eyeliner on, waterfroof mascara, and tinted mosturizer maybe a tined lip balm. it wont run and you dont look too made up for your workout.

plus if you sweat alot, then your makeup wont run. like if you went full on.

you would look good getting there, but not leaving.

i clean my face prior to working out. it gives off a glow. then i smile and say hello (when i can) to other folks i come in contact with. its really great to not apply makeup. it gives you pores and skin some time off. apply a thin coating of vaseline or gloss to your lips.
