The Boat of a Million Years by Poul Anderson.....read it when i was a teen and I still love it.....recommended

I lent a book called "Under the Skin" to a friend. I never got it back. It was so good I went out and bought myself another copy, and read it all over again. It will leave you thinking about it for quite a while afterwards.
Under the Skin by Michael Faber.

Also just read "The Curious Incident of the Dog..." by Mark Haddon and loved that too.
