The swastika was used by Native America tribes, don't remember what it symbolized, it was a good thing might have been the Crow. Wiki it. It was used in Europe hundreds of years before the Nazi's. I think it had something to do with rebirth or renewal of life. Wiki it.

It is possible that the swasitka, if turned around, was a Viking symbol. That was were Hitler got it from. The Vikings were the ones who had it first I think or maybe the Native Americans either way, Hitler stole alot from other cultures as all. He was kinda insane about the whole perfect race thing...even though I am half german and I look like his idea of a perfect race. I don't like him or what he did to the Jews. I think the ring you saw is Viking.

church motifs are well known to enhance the swastika as a decoration & a symbol like a( block )form comet it has a spinning effect as a rotation, stars in block form are understood other things have not been handed down and have lost in some cultures its true passive relation to religons art and recognition

That symbol is a lot older then Europe is. That was a religious symbol That has been in use before man was able to write. And all the Nazi did was to steal a religious symbol and give it an evil meaning..... And until people start studying history in a correct manner they will always consider that symbol to mean evil..................................
