It could easily have been one of his many doubles that was hanged.
Rumors will persist. for a long time that such was the case.
But of what value would he be if kept alive? Power-mad creeps are a dime a dozen, and the only value he would have would be to his own small group of sycophants and followers, many of whom also wished him dead.
Logic dictates that the criminal that was hanged was Saddam.

Your suspision may be right. Saddam may be still alive and active. They said Osama died of kidney faliure, but after somedays, he was seen playing with his guns from a camera footage. I really doubt that Saddam is dead. The Muslims have the strongest unity in the entire universe, it's really impossible to believe what we all saw on T.V.
Anyway, it's a new year. Lets see what more interesting things to watch in 2007 A.D.

i appreciate the Arab thoughts We(Iraq) desire this (Shatt Al Arab , larger oil expenses ,Kuwait or inspite of) .They for this reason enter into negotiations in which they merely state -- we are higher and more suitable so supply us what we call for -- or we are able to invade you. So Iraq invades Kuwait, kidnaps, tortures and rapes Kuwaiti electorate, oftentimes loots the position, seizes its oil fields and then threatens Saudi Arabia -- and also you ask what has that to do with the West or each person else ? Do you ever ask your self why Arabs/Islam get the kind of undesirable press global huge

Meh, I'm pretty sure it was him. It'd be a disaster for the United States to get the wrong guy at this point, and I'm sure they know if it was in fact the wrong guy.

i read that what happned was there 1 guy filming it, he had to follow him to the top, when he dropped, the guy with the camera had to run to the bottom, so thats why there's a minute between the tape.
