gautam gambhir should be the 3rd opener. sehwag should out from the team because when irfan pathan wasnt form then he had to went so why sehwag is in the team.

Sehwag is a good player and is in the team plan for the WC and he needs to be get going if India has to do something worthwhile there. So Sehwag is persisted with so that he comes to term and gets some runs. It is Jaffer who is not going to be a part of the WC team. And Gambhir deserves the berth of second opener. It is already too late (atleast 1 year). Better late than never.

The 3rd test opener is Gautam Gambhir. Sehwag is in the team because of his past performance and as he is able to demoralise any bowling attack in the world when he is in form.

Like it or not but in case if Dhoni is unfit then You will see Sehwag opening with Ghambhir for sure. I think it's best if we all cricket lovers forget this test series as a bad dream and look forward to the future. There are a lot of talented cricket players in india and all they need a chance to prove their worth. As they say let the old leaves fall only then the new leaves will emerge.

G.GAMBIR IS THE THIRD TEST OPENER FOR INDIA. HE IS A VERY AGGRESSIVE AND ATTACKING BATSMAN. GAMBIR SHOULD OPEN THE INNINGS WITH SEHWAG. BOTH THE PLAYERS CAN HAVE AN EXPLODING STYLE OF BATTING. THEY CAN ATTACK THE BOWLERS & ALSO GAVE A GOOD OPENING FOUNDATIONS FOR THE NEXT BATSMEN.
