what happened in 1952 will never happen again, because it will never be allowed to happen again. They did it and surely they learn very well (they happen to be excellent learners when it comes to the security of their regime).
That's why the president always put someones like Tantawy in the military, and always pull out someones like AbuGhazala from it.
All that never mean that "something" will not happen!
I believe, unless something in the people's favor happens in the next 3 years max. (that's my estimate) then we may face a big revolution.
The fate of it depends on one thing in my opinion, and that's; is there any leaders for it available? if not then it may be a big chaos and not revolution with certain demands that most of the egyptians long for.
Yes we will witness change, that's for sure.
I m just not sure if it will be to the better.

well, a revolution was bound to happen many years ago. It was supposed to take place when the economy first started to deteriorate and when the price of dollar increased.
However, judging from the appearance of how things are going on, I say the Egyptian morals are too corrupted to do any group work. A revolution is a team work and team work needs cooperation.
We are ,by nature, peasants. We are peaceful and submissive. It is so hard for an Egyptian to express himself/herself freely.
However, I believe that individual efforts will make a change. If we don't have team work, we have individual work that will, hopefully, make change. Egypt needs someone , who is not different from anyone , who is willing to pull himself togther and make a change. Maybe people like Ayman Nour or any one who is willing to lead the people and make a change.

The only people who can do that now are El-E7'wan El-Muslemin....
They are well organized & have Money & followers....
And Honestly, I don't want this to happen....
Although I'm with you about the frustration & corruption & presuure that's in Egypt now....
I believe all of that can be solved but certainly hope that no revolution would take place...
Don't you agree with me?!!

Just, please, do not let it happen till after 2008-and my long vacation trip there.
It could happen in a few years---------if it does it will be because of the Muslim Brotherhood and others like it, and Egypt could end up a strict Islamic state. I'd hate to see that happen.
