yes they do that when they are happy i have 3 and whenever i enter the room they popcorn that's what its called here is a very good website www.google.com then put in guinea pigs and look for the wikipedia one that has the best info for learners i did when i was learning to take care of them and learn there nature!! and i used that website and i got a A+ on my essay so i suggest using that website to learn more about that it should be the second website on the google website list after you google it so GOOD LUCK ~Britt~ i know this since i owned 3 and 10 all together in my past life

My best friend had a guinea pig that did that and was about the same age and we found out that they are just nervous still so when there sittting there they wana move to watch all around them and there really just jumping or running so hard that it looks like they are acting like a horse.

Yes this is normal. They call it "popcorning" there are some great Yahoo groups about guinea pigs where you can get a lot of information and talk about your pigs to other people.

I love guinea pigs! They are silly little animals.You never know what to expect out of them.How long has your little piglet been doing this? I don't think this is anything to worry about. Unless it came on quite sudden and you think it may be something the vet should check out. Otherwise just enjoy your little baby.
