There is no connection between the shooting of Darrent Williams and the Broncos loss today. The shooters might not even have known who was in the vehicle. It could just be a gang initiation to shoot at a vehicle as you drive by it.

I feel for the family of Darrent Williams. They are the ones now who have to try and understand why someone would kill a man who got the chance of a lifetime to live a dream that most of us will never even be able to imagine. This kinda puts a different perspective on life and games, now doesn't it? He is fine now where he is, his family are the ones suffering. If you pray, pray for them, but don't worry about Darrent anymore, he will be fine for the rest of eternity.
Darrent, #27, is the player who, last night, recovered the fumble after the whistle had blown on the first of two crazy calls by the officials. After review, even though the play was dead, the Broncos were still given possesion of the ball because he just picked it up.

If something, it exhibits that in step with threat there's a distinctive part to Manning that we, the traditional public, have been risk-free against. This makes me heavily question the resigning of Manning final season with the aid of the Colts. before everything i presumed the Colts have been stupid to take him at his be conscious and sign him without a actual. After on the grounds that he chosen the worst of the three communities, now i'm thinking he probable refused to take one, and placed the Colts in a good spot, surely forcing their hand. This to me, became no longer a circulate approximately prevailing a championship, yet merely approximately money. Denver might win a branch call, and then back, with the present roster, they won't, in spite of who they draft and sign to help out. upload to that, that it is an previous team, with many key gamers who're north of 30 (MaGahee, Bailey, Dawkins, and of direction Manning). Signing with the two Tennessee or San Francisco might have meant that he a minimum of might have an threat to compete for a great Bowl.

It sounds to me as though it might have been gang related and not at all to do with the Bronco's being eliminated, or their fans.
Another possibility is betting, when you make bets and don't come through with your end of the bargain, many nasty people are capable of doing some very nasty things, especially if you are famous and have millions of dollars. You become a target.

What do you mean Denver fans? It could be just a random drive by. What are the odds that in a huge city, they knew they were opening fire on his car? If they did it could have very easily been a fan of a different team, who just didn't like him. You are going way out on a whim suspecting it was a Denver fan who killed him because he was a player.

i know that that was really sad, but i don't understand why you have blamed it on us fans... that's pretty confusing.
i hope they find the guy who did it and do something really notnice to him because of the pain he has inflicted on the Broncos, the Family, and us Fans!
RIP, Darrent Williams!

This is so sad. What a terrible tragedy. But did they know who was inside the limo? How can they be so sure? I don't think this was from a Denver fan, do you?

I doubt a Denver Fan would do something like that. It's a horrible crime - I hope they catch whoever did this.

I heard that too. How sad. Williams was only in his second year, and he was a great impact player.
