I got a new ipod and computer for christmas. My old ipod has a playlist of about 500 songs. I was wondering if it was possible to plug my new ipod into my old computer and to get all of my songs on my new ipod. Is this possible?

Sure, just hook up your iPod to your computer and use iTunes to move all your playlists onto it.

I don't think so. Your new iPod will identify with the iTunes on the old computer and then you would have to register it with the iTunes. However, when you go to plug your new iPod into the iTunes on your new computer it will not work because your iPod is already registered with a different computer.
You are better off by putting your playlists onto CDs and transfering them to your new iTunes and then registering your new iPod with it.

1. Buy some blank cd's. (About 20 cause you have 500 songs)
2. Burn your old songs from your old computer onto the CD'S until you have all the songs you want on your new ipod from your old ipod.
3. When done, put the CD's in your new computer, then download them to your new ipod!

i hope it works!

Yes, but you wont be able to put the songs off the old computor on the new one. They'll just be on the Ipod all the time.

well, if you take all the songs from your old computer and put them on your iPod, it will work. when you plug your iPod into your new computer, it will erase all the songs on it. iPods are only compatible with one computer.

No , it would be good if u copy all your old songs to the new ipod through disk usage and later on install itune and do the work.
this way u wouldnot need CDs.
