A young, talented man like Darrent Williams is shot down in a drive by shooting? I am not a football fan but it saddens me when life is snuffed out in an instant, whether they are famous or not. I don't understand that type of violence, do you?

No one understands it , How can any thing like that make sense. Yet it happens often, all over the world. Some young people think, that would never happen to me, And yes it could happen to you or any one ESL. Some ones dead some one hopefully goes to jail. and two family's suffer immensely....its a very troubling world. I know where i live we need stronger laws, someone here does a crime like that there out in a couple of years, I would like to think a life taken, is worth more than a few years in jail.

Yeah, I just read the news this morning and I was shaking my head...scary to know that any one can be shot down at any given time - Darrent was a talented player and a good person - what a loss for the community.

i think that this kind of violence is horrible. i hope they catch the sick person who shot Darrent and do lots of notnice things to him because of the pain he is inflicting on the Broncos, the Family, and us Fans.
i cried really hard when i heard. i'm with you all the way, sister...

It is incredibly sad when anyone is shot down! I reserve judgment until I hear more details. Sounds like he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I don't know who you're talking about but, yes, it is sad.
But then again, it's all fate, I think. God knows when he's ready to take you and death has to happen one way or another.
Yet of course that doesn't make it right to shoot someone and such. Thinking that doesn't erase the pain of loss.

Don't know the whole story - we may never get to know it all.
But remember what your parents/grandparents have told you- after midnight you need to be home. Not alot of anything good happens after midnight on the streets. Take good care of yourself!
