its new years and i dont wanna call comcast where can i find the WEP code on my computer to put that code on my other computer

for me, i just log into my router and retrieve the key there. the ip address for the router is usually 192.168.1.1 you'll need the login you created when you setup your router. you can reset your router if you don't remember and then login and setup everything from scratch.

When I was on dial-up, I would open several different sites after one loaded, so that when I finished reading or posting at the one I was on, others would have opened. There are programs that you can download that claim to speed up your connection... My firewall has told me they were virus or other malware when I tried that approach... Good luck... As others told you, it helps when I close some of the open programs, maybe... If I'm working with a picture editor, while the internet is downloading a page into my browser, it affects the computer response time, rather than the internet...

he said the ip is 192.168.1.1 hes probably right but if it doesnt work try 192.168.0.1
