I have strong feelings for this male friend (I'm male from India), who reciprocates my feelings. We have an inner thing, though we don't talk about it.

He had a fracture in his lower leg (lower calf bone: tribula and something). And he may need an operation if it is not properly set.

I want to know if he has an operation in a private Indian hospital:

- Will they take off his underwear at any stage?

- When, for how long, for what purposes?

- Will someone else touch his private parts to make him urinate, defecate or to sponge?

- Who will: the nurse, or the attendant (brother etc.)?

It really breaks my heart to think that, but I want to know. The situation is different in the west where nudity is not a big deal, and usually is part of any hospitalisation. In India it is not.

Is this feeling of jealousy in such a situation common? Is it reasonable?

Any procedure that is done is for medical purposes not for sexual or pleasure. Yes, your feelings are a bit over the top. God bless****

It does sound like you have a problem. Perhaps after this hospital procedure is over it could be something you could work
on, maybe thru books, the Internet, a trusted mentor or friend.

The main thing is that your friend gets good medical care regardless of how that happens. You care about him so try to
point your thoughts in that direction when you are having these
other thoughts. At this point, those aren't helpful to your special
person. I think he would feel a lot better knowing he had your full support on whatever needs to be done to get him well.

Afterwards, maybe you could work on this jealousness. I personally think we are all a little jealous when it comes to our loved one, but this is an emergency situation and he just needs
your support right now.
