Check first to see if your state has an employment website. The one here in Texas is very helpful, & I'm sure other states have utilized a similar desugn.

Ours has a section to help analyzr your values relative to work that I found very interesting. In addition there should be pointers to improve your resume, & to refine your search criteria when you do job searches.

Also,Yahoo Hot Jobs,Careerbuilder.com , Monster.com,Ladders.com, and many other sites will give you a lot of choices to sift thru. Good Luck!!

Here are some links that have assessments for a variety of ages (teen to adult).

Here are some that are FEE based, as well as Free (they do show which is which)

This last one is called the Myers-Briggs Assessment -- it helps show your personality type -- while it doesn't necessarily show you which job is for you -- it will tell you many things to help you refine your career search.

Good luck!

Also, if you are just looking for a general guide on career resources. There is a free site that was created by some career counselors at the University of Virginia at

There are a few sites that help you to assess your talents. You should also browse jobs that you may be interested in and see if one pops out at you. You will be amazed.
