You have to use iTunes or winamp (they have a patch). iTunes sucks and is really silly to use. You can't just drag and drop.

Ohkay I had some really big trouble downlodaing songs on my iPod nano also I had no freakin clue on how to do it. Then I found something that helped me with ALL of my iPod troubles. Okay so all you have to do is call the Apple company (just look it up in your phonebook) and they will take you through a step by step process on how to do anyting with your iPod, believe me it works!! And the only reason I am not taking you through a step by step process is because it would be way too confusing for me to say and you would wind up even more confused!!
Hope this helps and Happy New Year to you too!!!

Download iTunes from the Apple website and then either put a CD in and import the songs, add them from files on your computer, or go to the store on the menu and buy song.
=) Happy New Year and Good Luck!

Best way is to have a shareware program like Limewire....or if you want to purchase it thru iTunes go ahead...click on iTunes store and then drag and drop the songs that youve purchased...Happy New Year to u too!!!

you plug your ipod into your computer.
then you go into the in=tunes store.
next you purchase a song you want in the store.
then you unplug your ipod and plug it back in.
then you should have the song!
