Watched it on Channel 4 the other day and was wondering how the head witch fitted her hug snout under that mask? not to mention her fingers grew at .least 10 inches when she removed her gloves.

I own that comedy with Anjelica Houston on DVD..and yes the answer is simple, though it is an old movie, it is all a question of technology, computers, special effects, that movie "The Witches" is full of excelent special effects. Like the scene where the boy turns into a mouse. As many here said lay on your sofa, armchair, chair and relax, and enjoy the movie. Laugh for a while.

Because they are witches they have magical powers. She cast a spell on the clothing items to hide her true identity. When she had them on she looked normal but when she removed them her true appearance was revealed.

i love that film, i used to have it on video when it first came out and i used to act out that scene ur talking about with my friends (how sad was i ha ha). i used to look at ladies shoes to make sure that they wasnt square!! :0)
