2.Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum.
3.Kal Ho Na Ho.
4.Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.

These four movies are from Dharma productions which have done the highest amount of business all over the World...

I believe it is Dhoom2 . Or maybe even Kal Ho Naa Ho.Well for one thing this is only a guess coz I stay in India.And u can't actually figure out the most popular Indian movie abroad like me coz loyalties are always divided.And come to the point,who is going to watch our movies except for the Indian diaspora

Don't listen to the other answerers, It's Kabhi khushi kabhi gham which is the most popular Indian film here in the Arab world (middle east) and in Britain...............
I don't know about America and rest of the world, but Iam sure that it is Kabhi khushi kabhi gham that deserved to be the most popular Indian film here in the middle east.

well all foreign audience love our romantic movies the most so king khans most movies rock overseas hence all time great has to be ddlj

yup it was the raj kapoor movie mera naam joker and more recently it was laagan and the movies my meera nair.. u might also say bend it like beckam was very popular

I disagree, I am American and the Indian DVD's I see in the non-Indian stores are:LAGAAN-DEVDAS-ASOKA(?)-BANDIT QUEEN-COMPANY-MONSOON WEDDING and movies by Deepa Mehta.
