I mean, done something so humiliating that you could not face people afterward? So humiliating that you couldn't even look in the mirror? So humiliating that your thought moving to a different city?
Changing your name? Wearing a wig to work? (just kidding)

I completely humiliated myself several times, and always for love. (we all do some weird things for love, don't we?)

Probably the stupidist thing I ever did, (long time ago) was to let my friend believe I was married to a woman, and not involved with a man. The gender pronouns got so confused that i wet my pants.

LOL. The most humiliating thing I ever did for love was to move to a different city, become a different person, and cut all my ties with my family and friends. Oh yeah, and it was a blond wig, jk. But yes, the first part is true. There is nothing more humiliating than cutting all ties with your previous life for a relationship that doesnt work out.

It wasn't too bad as doing that.
I wrote a poem to the girl I loved, lied to her (said a guy sent it to her)
and I think that she's talking about me to her friends.
Now, she won't even talk to me anymore, much less look at me.

Yes, I started to cry at work one day after he left me (after 7 happy years(I thought)) for someone else. I wasn't out at the time...I never did tell anyone why.

We all have done things we regret. Shame is not an option. Once you have made a decision, you have to stand with it. No need to hide. Just makes you stronger.

I think everyone has. But everyone gets over it. It just takes time.

Nope. I'm not brave enough to do it. I'm not brave enough to give up everything.
