hi. finished hs (mater dei). some college (irvine valley). during hs: gpa=2.83 in regular classes (sat=1140 (v=600,m=540) act=26 (e=29,r=28,sr=23,m=24) currently 20 y.o., have completed 6 college courses, writing1=A, art(painting)=C, Hum.4 culture=B, Hum.22 religion=B, astronomy=C, macroeconomics=F. current college gpa=~2.33

what should i do from here?

both tests were first try no prep at 16 years old

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

also, as far as gpa goes, effort = F, so results shown are not totally reflective of true ability

True ability is totally different from shown ability. They can only rank you based on your shown ability, not your potential. A smart, but lazy person is no different from a dumb person if they both get F's.

Your best shot seems to go to a different jc. Kick butt there and transfer. I'm gonna guess a big part of your problem is lack of motivation and friends. So, get away from those problem areas. Get a part time job and commute further away to some place like Long Beach CC. It'll teach you time management and hopefully keep you too busy to get into trouble. I'd stay out of Orange County.

to be honest, UCI might be out of your league. i know it's not the BEST school in the world but it's pretty nice nonetheless.

apply to the school and you just might get in if you're lucky. who knows? alot of random people got in who did very poorly. you should also look into entering some community colleges and then transfering in
