House prices are out of control, youngsters with professional well paid jobs are living in poverty, while the middle aged are spending their free money on expensive holidays and four wheel drives. National insurance is the highest it has ever been, yet youngster can forget a state pension or free dental treatment. We have to pay for our own private pensions as well as our parents free state pensions. Public transport costs a fortune, the old get it free. Gas bills are massive the old get heating allowance.
University is only for the rich.

they have spent a lot of time and effort on the young, but not in the way we would like, the effort has been to brainwash them demoralise and cause division, like the young against the old, as you have just pointed out, not forgetting bringing drugs in and poisening them, its going to get worse before it gets better, dont lett these crafty decievers turn the young against the old, the gov would love that, as long as they are not bothering them, my policy
is to when they get a job, to let them keep their dole for a year or longer if they start a business, this is an investment into the british young and their ideas. at least thats what i will be putting forward when i become a free english councilor if that happens.

Young ignored?
Why does every politician want to get in touch with the young? Put them in front of a camera, and within a few minutes they have a baseball cap on backwards and am chilling with their homies. The young have little cash, but little responsibilities.
House prices are a concern, and with 3 kids ranging from teenagers down, I won't be rushing out to buy a four wheel drive, if they ever want to leave home. You are right about OAPs getting council tax rebates, bus passes etc, fat lot of use they are to our older relatives who have new cars and swan off on cruises for 3-4 months a year.
University - we were lucky enough to be cushioned by student grants, but why do we need almost 50% to go to the ivory towers?
That is why you now have to pay.

The "young" are the group most neglected & ignored by politicians the world over! (Mostly because they have the least money!)

The logical solution is not to whine about it, but to become politically active.

Take charge of your own life, and mould the world to suit you. Focus less on how unfair it is that someone else is "getting something for nothing", and more on figuring out the best legal way for you to get what you need and want!

It worked for Richard Branson!

Because young people cannot vote. Sure, there are very bad apples amongst the youth who deserve to rot in jail or spend 100 years in the electric chair, but many are law abiding citizens.

i think that's negative- you have to maximise your own potential to begin with. If you rely soley on the government to do even the most meagrest tasks- you're already heading towards failure. Learning to be self maintained will get you much farther than waiting for the government to aid you.

I don't take anything from the government- not even when i'm entitled to it. I'm not too proud but as long as i'm able to provide for myself with all my capabilities, I can't accept anything even from my family
