Dusseldorf
from Rod Stewarts song:
"Windy Town"
(James Harris III, Terry Lewis)
Driving down
From the Highland Line
We'd done some gigs
On the Clyde of the Tyne
They flew us in
From a Hamburg strip
The taste of Dusseldorf

chicago, and it's not called that b/c of the weather. my friend from chicago told me this when one day we were walking and it was really windy in a far away, small city on the east coast. she told me it's really not that windy over there, and i asked her why it's called that. she told me some political reason. i tried to look it up, but the "theories" they give as reasons on the internet are not the same one. she had a really specific one. i'll have to ask her again and edit this when i know!
