In a heartbeat. I would kill for my family. I couldn't imagine going through that kind of tragedy and not want revenge. I mean, if someone killed your child, and you met them in a dark alley with a gun in your hand, and there was absolutely zero chance they were innocent, everybody can still honestly say they wouldn't pull the trigger? Come on, I don't believe half these answers. Eye for an eye......

I'm not a church-goer, and I am not very religious, but I believe in the commandment that says, 'Thou Shalt Not Kill'. Revenge is not ours to take; leave that up to God (or Nature, or a random evolutionary 'big bang' process, or an intelligent designer, or whatever other phenomena you choose to believe). Only "God" has the right to claim, "an eye for an eye". We are mere mortals put on this Earth to try and do something good for others. We're not here to judge others, create conflicts, or satisfy personal vendettas...a lesson that George W. Bush needs to learn. -RKO-

No, I think I would call the police, and feel bad for the person. That person needs a lot of help. I would also get myself some professional help because I would need to learn how to deal with the pain and anger so the pain and anger don't control me. I would like to see the person in jail for life. Jail is not a fun place it is not even human in some of the jails. I would not even want my puppy to spend one night in such a place

At one point in my life, yes. However, I read the other day in the Bible where God said something along the lines of "vengeance is mine" and I changed my view. I am not opposed to letting our court system execute justice on murderers though. It is not revenge when the system works.

I would just try to call the police, but I would never kill them. I wouldn't get my hands dirty on such a criminal, and maybe send myself to jail.

Although I would probably like to, I wouldn't want to stoop as low as them. I would want justice to be served and I would want to see their face and hope to let them know how much they hurt the family and I want them to live everyday in jail knowing what they did. That person will meet the maker in the end. I know I would have to forgive this person in order to go on in my life, or it would eat me up inside and I would be miserable. Don't get me wrong, I would never forget this and I wouldn't want this person to forget. I would want him/her to remember it for the rest of his/her life, everyday. I wouldn't want to be in jail for the same thing as they were in jail for. Why mess up my life just for justice? He/She will get what is coming to them. I have faith in God.
