Do people who have 1 or more tatoos tend to have similar personalities?

Especially those with more than one. Do they tend to have a mischievous, unstable or an under comitted personality trait? Or does it show strength and sentiment? Or maybe I am completely off track.

Hey... I think tattoos are a way of expressing yourself, like what colour you have your hair or what you wear. It can be to remind you of something. I don't think it has anything to do with being unstable & the people who get them done are all different kinds of people so i wouldn't say at all that they have similar personalities, some may do but there are so many people in this world who get them for all different reasons i dont think you could generalise.

I'd say your most certainly "off track" and stuck in the mud up to your axles with both tires spinning,and no hope of getting out.
But hey maybe some government agency could fund a study to examine those possibilities, and in doing so ingnore the greater problems facing us in the world today.

I have two tattoos--I am not mischievous, unstable, or undercommitted. I am happily married to a man who also has two tattoos. To think that people are that way is a big stereotype. We are not violent, we don't do drugs, drink, or smoke. Our tattoos have special meaning as well.

Different people get tattoos for different reasons. They also have very different personalities. To try to pigeon hole people who have tattoos as having the same personalities is like saying that all black people are the same or all white people are the same. Many people with tattoos are in committed wonderful relationships and others are a$$holes.

I have 4 tats and I don't fall into any of the categories that you mentioned. I can't see them having a commitment issue because getting a tat is a lifelong commitment.
