If this was a normal day, I'd go to my clinic. But it's closed today. In your opinion should I go to Urgent Care? Here are my symptoms:

Runny Nose
Sore and Very swollen throat
itchy eyes
sinus pain and pressure
slight cough

On the whole, I feel okay, but I'm pretty uncomfortable. I'd also appriciate suggestions on home remedies and such.

Also, you have no way of knowing for sure, but do you think the urgent care clinic will be PACKED?

Urgent Care clinics tend to be more busy than regular clinics - I used to work at one. I just had this FLU and it lasted 2 weeks! I had a fever with mine though. It started with 2 days of sore throat and then the TRAIN hit me and I was miserable! I would take either Thera Flu or some kind of cold medicine that has Guaifenesin in it.. That helps loosen up the congestion in your sinuses and possibly in your chest since the sore throat could be because of post nasal drip. I would just take it easy. Lots of liquids and soup and stay in bed and watch movies all day and make the trip to the clinic tomorrow. Unless it's and emergency, Always better to see your normal doctor when you can since they see you on a regular basis with your previous records on hand.

Wait until the clinic re-opens. It sounds like you have a very bad cold and there's not much they can do about a virus. Try the following recipe: Mix 1 tsp of honey, 1 tsp of lemon juice, 1 shot of Irish Whiskey in a cup of warm water. Drink and relax. The honey soothes the sore throat, the lemon juice clears up congestion, the whiskey kills the germs. Take care and get well!

Ask a pharmacist at a drug store that it is open near you what you can take over the counter but if it gets worse you should see a doctor.
