I have searched local stores but have had no joy with the small men's size.
Can anyone help?

If the jersey is made of a synthetic fabric you can safely stick it in some bleach water for a few minutes and try washing it again. If it is a replica jersey and made of cotton, do not bleach it else the yellow will be ruined. But bleach doesn't take color out of synthetics so you're safe there. My daughter plays keeper. She always says if her kits are too clean, her defenders might not take her seriously, in fact she was disappointed when I got the blood stains out of her favorite green Nike jersey. (The bleach worked perfectly on it, btw.) Good luck

If you're looking under small men's that may be where you're going wrong. Try looking under small boys or if he's a teenager try the Junior section. You can buy them direct from the Liverpool Store on line.
