I can only assume its cause it makes good viewing. I work full time but occasionally catch the show. I had many friends over the years but none of them like the "guests" on these shows.

I wouldn't say white trash i'd just say striaght up trash BUT there are some proper good stories on it that can make you cry like there was a girl with an eating disorder and you couldn't say she was trash she jus had issues in the head, perfectly normal gal, so really it's a mix and match plus when they do specials about children who have skin problems etc, not trash, I think it's good that they use them shows to get them messages across but when you have the strories "she slept with my mum nans brother" then yep pure trash.

I had a letter a few years ago from the Trisha show saying that someone from my past has been looking for me and was I interested in going on the show!!!! I declined, however they wouldn't tell me who it was. To this day, I have absolutely no idea who it might have been. True story.

White Trash seem to find it cool to appear on those programmes even though the programme usually portrays them in a negative way.
They will do anything to get on TV.
They also are one of the few types of people that can't sort their own problems out.

People who appear on the shows get paid. White trash are so desperate for money they would do anything, inlcuding making a total embarrasment of themselves.

The Jeremy Kyle show has bigger viewing figures than GMTV - says a lot for GMTV. I think they must send out scouts to rough council estates looking for these 'guests'

Because they are the only ones desperate for 5 minutes of fame and don't care about airing their dirty laundry in public!!! Blame the Yanks for this!

they are the only people who will sell their souls to humiliate themselves on such tv trash. Thats providing its not a set-up of a show.
