I didn't think so. The special fx weren't that great and half the time the superman character just looked like a plastic doll. the computer imagery was awful!! Plus it just wasn't the same without Christopher Reeve. But I suppose to each his own.

It was a surprisingly good movie.
Don't think it's anything like the Christopher Reeves Superman. It isn't. It's much more serious and mature in it's presentation and delivery.
The best analogy I can give you is it's similar in some ways (not quite as brooding but in it's delivery) to Batman Begins.
Well worth the time.

On it's own it was a good movie.
But it was actually written in as Superman 3. Anyone who is a Christopher Reeve fan, like myself, was upset and disappointed.
They should have started all over as they did with Batman Begins.

I'd say yes. I thought there was a great storyline and pretty good acting (especially Kevin Spacey) even though I dont really like Superman. Batman all the way!

I watched it last night, I enjoyed it (again) but I don't think it's as good as Batman Begins or either of the Spiderman movies. Oh, and the first two X-Men movies are pretty good too.

I havent seen it and I wont see it....There is only one real SuperMan. I believe they should have never made another one. Christopher Reeves deserves(d) to be the only one.

I saw it and found it boring, lack of action and a poor story line. Of course, it had to be around Lex Luthor, a character people are fed up with.
