a crush is something you have when you are fascinated with their physical appearance. You don't really care too too much for them on a deeper level. Love on the other hand is very selfless. You would do anything for them even break up with them if you knew they would live a better life without you. That's love. You want to look out for them unconditionally.

LOVE and CRUSH both are different and bring up different meanings. Love cannot be the same as crush and so do crush to love. Both stand independantly but relatively the same and have some significant of similarities. Love used to be nurture. Love is a feeling that rise within the heart with sincerity and warmth. When we love, that's mean that we care. Love is a wide understanding and definition. Love is variant. Everyone has love. We are good when we have love within our heart. Instantly, love is a feeling of care, accept of weakness, patient, understanding, peace, giving, respect, expect less, love without condition, sincere, hope, warmth, great, to share and lots more. Love covers all the aspect of goodness and humanity of the whole universe. Anything that is against love is what called evil. Crush is different from love. Crush happens when we met someone and we interested in them. Just like how you shopping a new clothes for new year. You saw a nice dress and you like it. Of all you have seen you only interested in one. This is only an example. Your heart feel a big sudden of stud. You want the dress and you can't resist the feeling. You can't stop thinking of it. You want it to be yours. That is crush. Your heart beats fast when you have a crush. You can't avaoid the feeling to keep yhinking and to own it. You see it as something wonderful. Youforget your surrounding and you keep mentioning it. Crush is a feeling of sudden. You cannot nurture or trying to make it happen. It is the feeling within your inner heart. That are the difference between love and crush. Crush involves of love but love is at the other way round. Crush is indefinate but not variant. What i mean is crush depends on surrounding, like a weather, it keeps changing. Today you crush and you can have it again in the future. But love you can't. Love takes time but crush can happen within seconds. Love always stay true to certainty. If you betray love your heart aches. Crush is uncertainty. Crush gives choices more comparable to love. Once you ever fell in love, you would notice that what and when was crush happened. Crush happen when you get the first glimpse and love follows. When you experience this, love maintains but crush might happen again and that is why there is second love. But soon after you broke up, love remains but feeling of unwillingly might cause hatred or any other bad feelings. I hope you can get what i meant and all the best for you. They are unrelated. A crush is caused by worry over whether someone you desire will feel the same and the excitement of working out that mystery.
Love is 90% commitment. My advice to you is to take commitment over love, because the latter is hard to define, and the former is crystal clear and worth everything in the world.
Another answer is that you can slap a crush and not worry about it.

Love is unselfish admiration. A crush could be the same thing, but happens instantly when someone sees another person. A crush is not embedded with as much time as love is.

Love is unconditional. Love is unselfish. Love is when you're willing to give up everything for that one person. Love is when you feel like you're dieing when that person leaves you. Love is all you need. Love is a battlefield. A crush is just an infatuation. It might vanish just like that.
