For me it was "What Dreams May Come" and the thought of being in love with a person to the point of choosing to leave heaven in order to find and spend eternity in hell with them. Made me realize that the next person I will marry will be that one and true person i would do this for.

So what about you? What one movie has made such an impact on you that it changed your life?

I am a high school band director. I always loved movies about music, such as Amadeus, Music from the Heart, and many musicals.

However, when I saw "Mr. Holland's Opus", it changed the way I approached my job. I make sure the kids know how much I love the music I teach them, and I make sure that my family is first, not second, in my life. I show this movie to my class every couple of years.

The newly released movie "Just Like Heaven" and "Pride and Prejudice" helped me. Just Like Heaven is a great movie...it is really heart felt and it deals with many current issues like artificial life. Pride and Prejudice is not only a great book, but the message in the movie and the book is great. It taught me that it doesnt matter where I come from, what econcomic status, etc. that I can achieve what I want. It also teaches what real love is.

For me it was an Indian movie that is being considered for a nomination at this years Oscars...It's called "Rang De Basanti" It shows that examples from the past of the Indian freedom struggle can be taken to inspire todays youth to stand up and fight tyrants...Almost every person I know saw and connected with this movie...It made me stand up to my school bully.... Good outcome...Eh?

I remember that movie I saw it a few years back, I love it. Thats the one where they collide boats at the beginning to meet, right? Then they do again at the end, except as kids. That movie was awesome, I been wondering what that movie was called. Thanks

Runaway Bride - it taught me that in order to find true love I had to be myself and not change to suit my partner's interests.
