Si and the rest of the Letters are totally different. Si is just one model that honda decided to make. The LX, EX, DX models are just upgrade models.

#1 get a 2007 b/c it will less problems the reason behind this is that it is proven that 1st year redidesigns always have more problems then the later model

#2 forget the dx it has nothing its a car to get you from point a to b

#3consider the lx or ex only consider the si if you are willing to pay more and not get as good mpg

#4 the lx would have air conditioning power window/doorlocks am/fm with cd radio

#5 the only advantage to the ex is that it has steering wheel mounted audio controls, alloy wheels and a sunroof

good luck

From an economical standpoint, the LX is the best deal of the 3 trims listed. You get the best of both worlds, and a pretty good sticker price.

Don't forget about the SI...that's a trim, to say the least, has some serious power for a Civic.

DX:Has no air conditioning only a fan

i would recommend one of the other two classes because the DX is only good to drive with no other extra items included so get the EX or the LX i would get the LX just because i dont need the Sun roof on the EX and the 6 disk changer

DX is the base trim. The other trims just add or replace certain features/accessories to the DX. If you just need a vehicle to get you from A to B, then DX is the best. Else, check out Honda's website to see which trim(s) has the features you want on your Civic. Happy shopping!
