The Time Machine remake has that kind of a theme to it....his wife dies a different way everytime he goes back into time.

It is definitely not Clockwork Orange. (One of the greatest movies of all time).
Maybe it was The Time Machine Remake
He finds that going back to change the future is not
such a good idea. He tries to save his wife once,
then gives up and goes to the future to see the

Not sure what movie it is, but I know it is definitely NOT the Butterfly Effect. That movie was about how something so small as the flutter of a butterfly's wings can have far-reaching consequences.
