cause it changes your life forever, and is unexpected. Causes some odd irrational behavior in some people.

The way you have told it, it sounds like a one-night-stand which is irresponsible. And, who is saying the loving is great? In your proposal it is, but a lot goes on in such circumstances ... a lot is ignored, because for that time people choose to look the other way, for their own selfish purposes. People take sex too lightly, especially if without "protection." In the case you speak of, it becomes a blaming game because neither one took into consideration the fact that a child can be conceived .... it was a selfish act and without love and morality, no such conception can be considered a good one ... so therefore, off go the recriminations, even though both ( in the way you are telling the story) were equally responsible.
And then, you bring in another element ... that the child is blamed and punished. The crime committed --- and it really is a crime against the child and therefore against society --- is a very serious one: a child has been brought into this world without forethought, and the situation is passed off by the irresponsible and those full of giggles about sex as "a little accident."
The problem then is that neither party wants to accept the blame, so they simply blame and punish the child. Nice people.
Do not be fooled by sex. It is a big bugaboo.
There is a saying:
The pleasure too brief,
The risk too great,
And the position ridiculous.

The reason for that is, because it was unexpected. You and your partner had never planned for that so it becomes that one of you may just claim it's not yours or break up. It's not like you both decide to make a baby. If your partner said lets make a baby, and you said right on lets go, then no one will say they didn't had sex. Remember when having sex and you don't want to have a baby, the male partner must always wear a condom.
Bye Bye!

Unfortunately the child does not get to choose the parents. Only very immature parents would blame the child.

thats up to the parents --- all of our children were planned and loved as they grew up and we were young when we got married
if you dont want children use protection its very easy ---- and if you have children you are BOTH to blame so just love the child even if you cant love each other

It's called irresponsibility. They want the pleasure, not the consequence. How about Aids? Gonorrhea? Herpes? Syphilis. If they kept their godamned hands to themselves, there wouldn't be any of these problems. You made a good point though.
