The state funeral is not until tomorrow, Tuesday 2 January 2007. That said, it would have been impossible for them to miss an event that has not yet taken place.

The funeral itself has not happened. It will be held in his home town in Michigan. But what you are referring to is the big ceremony that happened in Washington, D.C.The only two that showed up is Cheney and the out going speaker of the house. It apparently was inconvenient for Ford to pass away during the holidays. Bush said he sent Cheney.

All of D.C. can rush back to Washington in the middle of the night to cast a vote concerning Terry Schiavo and keeping her on life support when it was none of their business, but they can't be bothered with the death of A Previous President.

I wonder how many Democrats will line up to see a dead Bush. I'll tell you, all of them, they will show the correct respect that is due to a President.

You will see that on Tuesday at the funeral ceremony. There was many from congress there already though. Watch Tuesday and see. For you other political buffoons, lighten up the guy is dead and is due some respect.

He wasn't elected. He was placed there by Capitalists to clean up the mess of the Nixon Administration in a way that would allow fascists to maintain control of America. He represented the beginning of the end for freedom and liberty (in many ways, he was a lot like George Bush)

The conservative mainstream media gave Ford a proper sendoff.

It could be that because Ford once said that the decision to invade Iraq was a mistake. And GW Bush was offended by that.

It could also be that G W Bush is too busy checking the progress of the Iraq War.
