I'll even give you a book suggestion, though not strictly metaphysics: The Self-Aware Universe by Amit Goswabi. He takes current physics theories (string theory, quantum physics, and other weirdness) and uses them to show that they can easily create a bridge between science and religion. Very interesting stuff.
