Yes, we will get a democrat as President in 08'. His whole legacy is tied to this liberation, more troops equals more American soldiers being killed, he isn't even smart enough to realize that in his blindness for victory in Iraq. I only hope he lives long enough to see what history records about his legacy.

President Bush has historically ignored all advice given to him from outside parties, countries and individuals. He has instead chosen to listen to his "inner voice", which apparently is given to him by God and therefore overrides any human values. Bush has chosen a path to "Stay the Course" through 4 years of disaster in Iraq. This was the path he initially chose, he is infallible and therefore cannot change direction.

His recent indication having a New Plan to send a surge of troops to Iraq is more of the same. It is only a continuation of Stay the Course but on a larger scale that will result in further American casualties. He is more tyrant than President, and any advice that does not come from his own head or GOD are irrelevant.

When Bush refused to obey the fallacious demands of the Iraq Study Group it made me more proud that I voted for Bush.
How many of those who parrot the so called study group are aware that James Baker wrote his doctoral thesis on why the creation of Israel was a bad thing, and that Baker is on the Saudi payroll?
Do supporters of the Iraq Study Group support it because it will weaken Israel, the only stable Democracy in the middle east, or do they support the group because they hate George Bush?

The Iraq surrender group is only one opinion that the president is weighing in his decision about Iraq. I would hope that the Military generals would have some say in what we should do as well. Political and Military options are both needed. We should never ask enemies of this country for help , when their stated goal is to destroy us.

It means the enemies of freedom will still continue to suffer the consequences as long as they lift up arms against the freedom loving people of the world!
God bless America.

Bush can't do anything the Democrats won't let him do. You might want to ask the same question of the majority party in both houses.

This may come as a surprise to a lot of people but we elect a President to make decisions. He can take advice and listen to comments from all sorts of committees and whatever but HE get's to make the final decision. If you don't like his decisions, don't vote for him next time.
