Yes, yes he is. i just spent last week lecturing my 14 year old students in China about the King of rock n roll, or as they call him, 'king cat'. No guff.

Elvis '69 Comeback special is the grittiest, and first unplugged concert ever. He's awesome. For hardcore Elvis fans, watch the recent movie, 'Bubba Ho Tep'. It's soo awesome.

Nope, never was... I don't believe he was ever in The Beatles and is not currently touring with U2, so therefore no royalty status for Elvis.
