i keep seeing adverts for the CD on telly and it looks like its a film but not seen it out at the cinema? then yesterday it was on programme listings for about an hour, so it cant be a film. I have absolutely no interest in watching it, just intrigued about what it is!

High School Musical (HSM) came out last January. It was a disney channel movie, and it was the biggest cable television movie (40 million viewers) in a number of years. Check it out sometime.

It is a really good movie (but corny) about a very popular guy who met a girl at a New Year's Eve party where they sang together. She ends up transfering to his school and they decide to audition for the school's musical despite that being out of the "status quo". She is a brainiac and he is the captain of the basketball team. It is their struggle to make the final audition, the final basketball game, and some brainiac challenge all at the same time. Includes lots of hit songs and awesome dances.

It's a Disney Channel TV movie, and as the name suggests, it was a musical taking place in a high school. Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Anne Hudgens, and Zac Efron and some others starred in it.

high school musical is a movie and the actors also form a band .They actually came on the mtv music awards(thats how i know them )
p.s: dont watch the movie or listen to the band(not like heard them)
