on your Mariokart game, try to find a wifi option. one of the options inside should lead you to a more "ds-official" place. in that place, choose any box that is blank and set a connection. I don't own MarioKart DS, but it should go for the same as the wifi compatible Mario Vs Donkey Kong 2.

If you have a Firewall programme on your computer you may have to turn it off. We had the same problem connecting my son's DS but as soon as we turned off the Firewall....no problem!

Failing that go to www.nintendowifi.co.uk

Enter the error code in the search box on the right hand side and it will show you how to get thru the prob....you will need to select your type of wifi/wireless connection e.g. manufacturer
